Mathematical Puzzles

We shall look at mathematical brain teasers from New Scientist and elsewhere. There is a wide variation in level of difficulty. Even if you failed 0-level maths but still find maths interesting there will be something within your grasp.

Members of the group are encouraged to bring any brain teasers that have a mathematical content. In 2005-6 we ranged widely, including Solar System, Lead Balloons (could one ever work?), Sudoku and several problems from New Scientist. More info at:
